Santa Cruz Superlight from 2003 given a new lick of paint and 24" wheels to make a trail taming bike for any young rider.
This bike has been ridden on trails that would be classed as blue and red at your local trail centre.
Multiple laps is what's on the menu with the addition of the motor pack and two batteries good for at least 3hrs trail time.
A 20" Whyte with plenty of room for fitting chunkier tyres. A great base bike with amazing geometry.
We changed out the stock rigid fork with 24" air sprung number allowing for high volume tyres and future proofing your stable.
Keep a hold of the original forks and wheel and simply swap out the kit to a newer larger 24" bike in the future.
The wee Cannondale 20" bike was a simple bike to fit the motor pack and get riding.
It took around 1.5hrs to fit after replacing the stock bottom bracket with a slightly better quality sealed bearing with a longer square taper.
The only tricky part was removing the original BB as whoever built the bike in the factory has some serious tightening skills...
